They siezed 3 cars and a motorcycle. Im in foreclosure, plus my credit with Ford is ruined. I only owed 5 thousand$ on a 03 cobra conv. Its worth over 20k. There warrant was a load of shit. 6 cops in aurora showed up said they had a tip. I wouldnt let them in. 40 mins later i left to walk my dogs. A single cop came up to me and said I reeked of fresh weed. He said he was not letting me back in my own house because i was destroying evidence. the weed inside was flowering for a week and had no smell. He lied to get a warrant. I since have gotten my license to legally grow. the other property they took is valued over 50k$ . those bastards offered me 45 days in jail, they keep the property. they didnt catch me selling(I wasnt). The plants were all chopped down. Oh heres the bonus, I had guns in there. I have been charged with 3 felonies CULT, POSS with intent, And Special Offender which carries a 8 yr mandatory sentence I AM PLEADING NOT GUILTY!!! Will I BE the next MARK EMERY. Will I do over 10 years and lose nearly 75 thousand dollars of my stuff? I probally will because i have a public defender. stay tuned

tommy what happend in court on the 22nd. let us know. and if i were you and had a public defender i would be spending my free time in a law libary so i know the law and can see when my pd is hanging me out there cus he is to overwhelmed by his case load. but if your not a legal colorado medical marijuana patient or caregiver be prepared to lose your property and go to jail. and guns and drugs in colorado is asking for trouble, i dont care if your a legal mmj patient or care giver and have a legal registered handgun and a conceal carry permit- if ya got the gun and weed togeather that makes it a felony, so bend over and gritt your teeth. i dont think there is any legal precedent yet on the (gun) enhancement charges in relation to mmj. maybe this will be the case that sets precedent but that wont happen if you take a plea deal. i will say this, that patients and caregivers growing mmj are in an enhanced situation to be robbed and burglarized-why cant we protect ourselfs and property with a legal weapon. maybe someday the law will allow us that ptotection-but as of now i dont think it legally exists yet.
